Beliefs & Faith
Draconic ancestral honor code. Warrior's creed: strength tempers, trials forge, and the worthy are proven through combat and sacrifice. No temples — the battlefield is his sacred space. He honors the fallen through continued vigilance, not prayer.
Geography & Territory
Ash'Khaross — the Throne of Ash and Bone — is the capital of the Red Sands in Verda Niterra, carved from the remains of a colossal dragon whose skeletal structure forms the city itself. Black obsidian towers rise from fused dragonbone, bridges span between cliff-like ribs and spines, and forges burn with eternal flame drawn from beneath the earth. The Ember Canyons serve as training grounds for fire-wielding warriors, the ancient Sunfire Temple predates the modern Drakenith, and the Dune Vaults are massive underground labyrinths containing relics and forbidden knowledge. The shifting oasis Sey'Rathuun — the Mirage of the Last Dragon — appears unpredictably in the deep sands. Aberrations are increasing, the Scorched Ones (corrupted Drakenith, burning from within) have appeared, and something ancient stirs beneath the desert.
Council Scene — Thomas's Arrival
Assessed Thomas like a soldier evaluating a recruit. Asked blunt questions about what the boy could actually do in a fight. Seemed unimpressed by prophecy but intrigued by potential combat applications. His assessment was purely practical: can this boy survive what's coming?
“Fire tempers steel… and trials forge those strong enough to face them.”
Costs & Stakes
Lost half his kin in an Aberration incursion — this tragedy fuels his commitment but also his recklessness. His investigations into the source of Aberrations create tension within the Council. His willingness to push boundaries makes him a wildcard.
Tome I → Tome II Arc
From Council warrior to independent investigator as Aberration threats intensify. His suspicion that a darker force orchestrates the Aberrations drives him toward forbidden knowledge and dangerous alliances. May become either the Council's greatest defender or its most dangerous dissident.
